Meet Dr. Platenyk

Elizabeth is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a primary care setting. She earned her original degree in Biology from Sacred Heart University in 2012 and went on to complete extensive training in healthcare, including degrees in Radiologic technology and Nursing. She later obtained her advanced nursing education, preparing her for her role as an APN.

Elizabeth brings over 12 years of experience working in hospital settings, giving her a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of patient care across the lifespan. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about education and is currently in her fourth year of teaching nursing at Brookdale Community College, where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of nurses.

Elizabeth chose primary care because she believes strongly in the power of preventive medicine and early intervention. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and guiding them through every stage of life, focusing on catching health concerns early and promoting overall wellness. She is committed to making patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care.

When she is not working, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her partner, Cody, and their dogs, as well as traveling with friends and family. One of her favorite places to be is at the beach or in the mountains relaxing.
